The cabin size is 16'X18' with an8' front porch. It sleeps 6 people in two bedrooms.  One with twin
bunk beds, the other has twin bunk beds and one full bed. Sheets andcountry quilts are provided.  The bathroom has a 4' shower. Towels areprovided. The kitchen area has a table, refrigerator, microwave,toaster, coffee maker w/complimentary coffee. There is a fire ring out front.

We are located across from the newly constructed Hatfield McCoy Visitor’s Trail Center.  The campground is twenty miles south of Charleston, WV nestled between Corridor G (Route 119) and the Little Coal River near Julian.  The campground has 15 RV sites with a large amount of primitive camping available.  The RV sites have water, sewer and 20/30/50 amp power hookups.  We have a large bathhouse with heat and air conditioning also a vending room with microwave for your convenience.  The campground has direct access to the Little Coal River Trailhead of the Hatfield McCoy Trails.

 The campground is located along the banks of the Little Coal River.  The tranquil stream offers fishing spots along its scenic banks.  Shopping and fine cuisine for all, is just twenty minutes north.  Many attractions are located near Charleston.  Please see the “Attractions” page. 

The campground has one cabin renting now and another may be coming soon..   Also, a 36 foot travel trailer is currently for rent. 

The remaining Hatfield McCoy trails are to our south.

Kathryn's Kabins are located in Southern West Virginia just 20 minutes south of Charleston. Nestled in the cozy mountains of Boone County, these quiet vacation retreats are built next to the Hatfield-McCoy Waterways Trailhead which is part of the Little Coal River Trail System. With over 80 miles of trails for ATV's, motorcycles, bikes, horses, and hikers, more miles to be added soon. Sitting on the banks of the Little Coal River which is stocked regularly, it's a great place for the whole family to go fishing and canoeing.
